Classes are a great way to build stronger, educated leaders who excel in all aspects of construction. They're also an excellent opportunity to network with leaders of other companies to troubleshoot common issues, collaborate on projects and share successes. Construction Leadership Training offers an opportunity to build lifelong skills that will help you with your career as well as your personal life.
Our classes benefit all levels of a company. In construction, it is important that all crew members are engaged in a project and are also equally equipped. Skills like communication, planning, and teamwork will create a stronger team. Imagine the efficiency of a team that has strong leadership skills in all positions. Those in lower-level positions will have a better understanding of top-level leaders when they share a common goal and the skills to accomplish it.
This program is a beneficial activity to incorporate into your company's training. With local classes held in Salem, Oregon and a variety of training focuses, you will reap the benefits of a confident and prepared team.

Leadership is not a simple subject. At Construction Leadership Training, we divide leadership into 6 levels: Communication/8 Wastes of Construction, Goal Setting, Planning/Scheduling, Effective Meetings, The Power of Teamwork and Construction Leadership Skills.
Each level will consist of 3 classes that dive deep into the topics of that level. CLT builds educated and confident leaders through the discussion and problem solving .
Classes are held monthly for those interested in strengthening leadership skills. We will meet for an hour towards the end of each month to continue discussing the concepts of leadership. Monthly classes are now available to book through the end of the year.
In Scheduling 8.0, we take the curriculum outside of the classroom. As a leader, scheduling is a vital responsibility that effects the project, budget and the entire crew. Through training, you'll learn how to prioritize your resources so operations run smoothly and efficiently. These skills are applicable whether you are working alongside peers or leading the crew.
This class includes an 8-point visual scheduling system designed for general contractors. This system can be used on site for weekly trade partner meetings, as well as daily crew huddles. The highest form of communication is visual so when communicating through this system, we are at the highest level of coordinating work between all of the trade partners on site.
An important task in construction management and leadership is organization. Being able to check the status of your projects with a quick glance will save you time. We will diligently set up your Quick Glance Guide so you can lead your team with efficiency. Hard work in the beginning sets you up for future.
It's a computer program designed for general contractors and subcontractors allowing all of their jobs to be viewed at once. From the estimation stage to completion, you'll be able to view all project statuses on one page. Different color codes will signal the standing of each project. Green signals that a job is going well while red signals the need for the highest priority of action. Yellow shows that the job may need some attention.
Company leaders will be able to take a look at this guide and quickly see which projects require immediate action. This helps companies prioritize resources, time and man power. We'll curate a Quick Glance Guide for your projects and then teach your leaders how to color code each one.
